Cardinal Pacelli’s art program teaches students to create, analyze, compare and evaluate their art, as well as that of other students and famous artists.  They learn to define and recognize the elements of art and the principles of design, thereby enabling them to recognize, distinguish and appreciate the art and cultural influences of different countries and historical periods.

Along with experiencing art in the classroom, first through eighth graders attend art class once a week.  Our art curriculum is also enhanced by special programs such as Madcap Puppets, visits from resident artists, our talent show, and the always -changing display of student masterpieces in our hallways.
