Cardinal Pacelli School in Mt. Lookout, today is honored to be selected as one of the 2008 National Blue Ribbon Schools.  One of only 50 private schools selected for this prestigious award, Cardinal Pacelli demonstrated an excellence in education and ability to maintain those excellent standards over time. 

For 26 years the Department of Education has honored schools for helping students achieve at very high levels.   “We are honored to be selected for this award.  Academic excellence combined with the community that is Our Lord Christ the King parish are what make us special.” Said Kim Roy, principal of Cardinal Pacelli School, “Cardinal Pacelli has always been an excellent place for students to learn and grow.  This award validates the achievements of our students and the faculty that supports them.”

Fr. Robert Obermeyer, Pastor stated, “We are blessed at Cardinal Pacelli School to have the many dedicated teachers, staff and parents that want to make our school the best it can be. We also have the faithful support of our parish community. I am proud of all of them.”
