Through our music program, students learn how to read music, understand music terminology and structure, and distinguish between different sounds, cultures of music and instrument families.  Through the use of classroom instruments and singing, students develop their own personal musical abilities.  In the older grade, music history and composers are studied.  Band is offered once a week in 4th-8th grades, with a focus on beginning brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments.

The music curriculum is enhanced by several musical performances each year, including a Grandparents Day program, a Christmas program, and a bi-annual spring musical.
